This place was a pleasant surprise to stumble upon. Cozy and quiet atmosphere. Friendly staff. The food was delicious. My husband and I ordered a 10 inch personal supreme pizza with sausage and pepperoni, a large salad to share, 6 lemon pepper wings, and 6 original hot wings. The crust of the pizza was thin, the toppings fresh. It was cooked to perfection. The flavor of the wings were spot on. This is my new go to spot. Don't sleep on it. It really is a hidden gem.
The Last Slice is a great locally owned restaurant that serves up great pizza and wings! We have been fans since the very beginning and there aren’t many pizza places that serve up thin and crispy without being burned pies with great sauce and the perfect amount of toppings. There are many pizza places and many different styles and The Last Slice is one of the best I’ve had not only in SA but in all my travels. If you want the best experience, go in, order a pie, and eat it piping hot out of the oven. Get a few wings for the rounded out experience and the ranch is great too for you dippers! Give this place a try it will be worth it!
The Last Slice isn't winning any awards for its ambiance – both inside and out, it's pretty basic. But forget the decor, this place is about the pizza. We grabbed a 16" pie with their spicy red sauce, and it was absolutely killer. It turns out the owner is a Culinary Institute of America grad (for those who don't know, that's one of the most prestigious culinary schools in the country, right here in San Antonio!), and it shows. They've clearly prioritized flavor over flash, and they knocked it out of the park. If you're craving amazing pizza and don't care about the frills, The Last Slice is a must-try.
The prices are as good as the pizza, FANTASTIC!! 10/10 This pizza is worth every cent. The owner is extremely kind and patient. I couldnt be more thankful I found this restaurant. The pizza is HUGE and super delicious!! Made fresh AS SOON AS you order. This place is super chill!!
The Last Slice Pizza Shop is a hidden gem that completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the smell of freshly baked dough and melted cheese was irresistible. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. I tried their signature slice, and it was absolutely delicious — the crust was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of chew. The sauce had a rich, tangy flavor, and the cheese was high quality and perfectly melted. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and really care about their craft.
We drove past this place and came in to check it out. Definitely pleasantly surprised. Pizza was really good and everybody liked the mozzarella sticks. I recommend you come in and give it a try and see for yourself how good it is. Staff was really friendly. Come get a slice and give it a taste.
The pizza was delicious, hot and fresh, loved the thin crust. The owner was super nice and chill. Will definitely be coming back.
I would happily accept my death sentence if this was truly The Last Slice of Pizza I could eat. 10/10 crust, cheese, and toppings. The wings are a 10/10 too. A must stop for SATX pizza lovers.
